It was the last thing Tina got out before she suddenly and completely turned diamond, lethally-sharp spikes of the gem protruding from her shoulders, spine, and down her arms as if she was about to have to plow her way out of something.
The look on her face was briefly horrified, but it was quickly becoming par for the course and as soon as Rose got Joey, she'd start the way out.
