The thing about Steve was, well, most people assumed that if you took away his bow and arrows, then there wasn't much he could do. They ignored the sword, the staffs, the boomerangs, because he did, primarily, make use of the arrows. What they ignored was the fact that he had been trained by numerous Avengers, to be far more than that. To be his own weapon.

Because as they guy with no powers, and not even the little extra residual super-soldier formula, he needed every edge he could get.

He stopped, slid his foot back, and in one easy motion, brought it between the nearest guard's legs, even as he brought his hands down on the back of the falling guy's neck.
