"It's less morals and more simply being a law-abiding citizen. And before you tell me that murder is illegal, I would remind you that what Shaw did was as well so this is justice." She smiled. "I actually just don't know that I should drink. I have to pretend to be innocent after all."
Julian was attempting to get her rattled, not to make her change her mind, she realized, but to test her. Of course these were things she'd already considered but none of them mattered. Emma, Christina...she could deal with them.
She couldn't deal with doing nothing.
"I'm not worried about it. I'm prepared to face whatever consequences our actions garner. Shaw needs to die. It is absolutely that simple."
