Happy Birthday, Miss Logan! (After the return from Providence)
Joey's been working on this idea of his for several months, since he managed to get someone to tell him Rose's birthday. The plan has changed several times over the last couple of months, but when Joey finally decided exactly what to do for her birthday, he'd gone all in with the plot.
Of course, Providence had thrown things for a bit of a loop. A little bit after they've finished talking to Doctor McCoy, Joey goes searching for Cassidy. He's acutely aware of how much more difficult life is when one can't see ten feet in front of oneself, and it takes a little extra asking around to figure out where the kid is currently.
He walks up slowly toward Cassidy's chair, tapping the walking stick against it as he tries his best not to look utterly pitiful.
"Hey, kid. You, uh, take care of that task?" Joey asks.
"Yeah, I did. But I want something in return." Cassidy says. "And I kind of need it today."
"Depends on what you're looking for." Joey says.
Cassidy tells him; Joey laughs out loud.
"That...shouldn't be hard. I'll call my guy, but you gotta meet him at the front gate." Joey says.
"No problem." Cassidy grins.

A little bit later, someone will find Rose and hand her a peach colored envelope with her name written on front in Joey's handwriting. If she opens it, she'll find a birthday card inside.
