Here it comes, she thought to herself. He's going to tell me that he's found a girl he has interest in and is going to ask me for advise in how to woo her. She wondered if perhaps they had ice cream in the freezer and if anyone would notice that she took it--all of it--and hid in her room as she consumed it miserably.
"Oh? That's quite a change, Argo. I can understand how this would be difficult for you. Have...have you found someone?" She was blinking faster than normal as she spoke, fending off tears.
