The Other Ritual
Outside the circle of stones that comprised Stonehenge another ritual was taking place. Johannes had shielded himself from eyes and ears as he called upon the Octessence, the forces that opposed the Vishtani, to answer his summons.
He read from a sheet of old parchment that was once contained in the Darkhold.
When they answered, he explained the situation and offered them a deal.
