Demons were tough buggers and this one was no exception. The demon roared loudly when the electricity struck, but the most it did was tingle. The vines crept up around the demon and it started to struggle to get free, but it was unsuccessful as Dawn's chains wrapped around it. It could still move a little, but not much.
The spears hit their target. Some hit the chains and vines and didn't strike, while a few found their mark and were now embedded in demon flesh.
The demon roared again.
