When McKenzie retreats from the fight with Molly, she makes a run for her ball and chain.... which she finds fused to the leg of the tinker toy, damnit.
She's not overly worried about him destructing, but the sparking is inconvenient. She makes a couple efforts to detach him, but he's well fused, so she settles instead for trying to tear the head free and see if that stops the sparks enough that she can grab her weapon and get out of there, even if she has to tow his body. Not like it'll slow her down any.
