This isn't a good exchange for either of them. His suit is well insulated against electricity, but its still a shock to the sensors. He started out grabbing her, trying to vamp some of her suit's energy. Not a bad start.
Then he takes the shock, and the suit's vision starts going to static. He's forced to pull back without the grapple he was hoping for to break the circuit between her suit's hands, trying to give his visual sensors time to recover from the hit, having trouble targeting at the moment. At least the extra charge vamped from her suit is giving him a little more power to work with.
