Val had seen the news reports. She also lived in the Baxter Building. It was fairly easy for her to find out that Kristoff was going to Latveria.
While Victor von Doom made her uncomfortable, Kristoff was family. She could suck up her issues and go for him.
"Kristoff?" Val asked, approaching the other. "I want to go with you."
