"Exactly the point, I think. Our enemy doesn't care if Latveria loses, or even is ground into dust. The Atlanteans won't stop to ask questions unless someone makes them. The defenses there may even just be set to blow up the castle and everything in it as soon as one of the regents of Atlantis enter. Doom is just as much their enemy as any of the rest of us."
