Vincent releases her and then stands up, removing branches and leaves from his hair and clothing. "HMPH." He rubs his throat briefly, before making his staff vanish with a puff of brimstone.
"Oh yes," He responds under his breath. "--because you were making such grand headway. I daresay the fight would have been yours when I grew tired in a few days."
He clears his throat and speaks up. "Kristoff, I apologize. I attempted to smooth over the situation, but apparently was unable to sufficiently convey such to her highness."
