While he was getting his ticket, Anya sent a text to Mom and Dad. If they knew where she was going then they didn't have to worry about not knowing where she disappeared to. Somewhere along the way she gained a little more responsibility and grew up a little.
Of course Mom would just look at the credit card use and know, but why put her through that if Anya didn't have to.
She also sent a text to Sydney and let her know that she had the team for a few days.
