As Gio realizes the implications, she teleports to the path of the metal rods, grabs them out of the air, and with a deep breath gets away from the Adaptoid. "It's copying Magneto. Try not to rely on metal."
Gio suspects if she starts bombarding the Adaptoid with electricity, it'll switch to Andrew's ability, so she stays near the more innocuous robots and hopes Andrew and the Atlantean girls and the Latverians can do something.
