The sai impales Kevin's arm drawing an angry grunt from the man. These jerks liked to gang up on people, did they? All right, then.
Taking one hand from his mace, he reaches over and pulls the sai out of his arm, then leaps out of Argo's path, shutting down the lightning blast that was turned upon him.
Kevin scans the street, looking for something he can use against these two. He sees a young blonde woman hawking at the battle and grins savagely, gambling on the heroism of these two idiots.
He tosses his hammer at Natalie, knowing it will come back to him whether or not it hits her. She's a trained warrior, just like this other guy.
He's willing to bet blondie across the street /isn't/ and that she's about to have a really bad day.
