	Enter Kristoff did, shutting the door carefully. He managed a glance at what Lang was working on, because old habits did die hard. But there were more important things. 	Scott turned to see who had entered. His expression was one of puzzlement. The kid looked serious, not that he usually looked any different, but he seemed more serious than normal. "Good to see you to. I hope you are well." Somehow, inexplicably considering his posture was already stiffly perfectl, Kristoff manages to straighten up a bit more. "Mr. Lang, I have plans that indirectly concern you, and I wanted to inform you in advance." The 'Mister' was an indicator of trying to be Appropriate right there. Kristoff had never really gotten out of the habit of just calling him Lang. But despite the fact that he would resist calling it 'nervousness' and resist very strongly, he hesitates.

Scott expected this to happen one day, he just didn't think that day would be today. Though there were certainly worse out there.

"I see," he said after a few long quiet moments. "Well, Kristoff, I can't say that I'm surprised. I figured this would happen one day, I just didn't think it would be this soon. To be honest, Cassie will always be my little girl and well dads and their little girls...." He left that right there. The bonds between dads and their little girls were special and very strong. Kristoff didn't need to be reminded of this.

"I like you. You're a very responsible young man." Not to mention not a time traveling conqueror. "You're nice, mannered and you have my daughter and grandson's best interest at heart."

"That being said," he continued. "I have no objections to you asking my daughter to marry you provided that you always have her and Scotty's best interest at the top of your priority list."

	Kristoff gave a small nod to the first point. He might not have any daughters or sisters himself, but he was familiar with the common general principle. He just hoped she didn't think it was still too soon. As to the last part, Kristoff meets his eyes very earnestly and says "Absolutely," almost painfully sincere. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
