Off to see the...kitchen wizard? (Open)
Left with an afternoon off, Jenny decided to cook dinner for the team. She stopped at the shops on the way home and bought everything needed for a pot roast dinner for a dozen people. She figured that the men could eat twice as much as she and Tamara, and leftovers were always good for lunch the next day. She wouldn't have time to make garlic bread, but she bought refrigerated dough, garlic and seasonings to make a passable substitute. Dessert would be a chocolate cake. She also bought a tin of salmon for YC. Everyone would celebrate tonight.

There were treats and snacks in the bags as well. Snacking while cooking was a must.

The kitchen table was completely covered by the time she got everything inside and started unpacking.

	"If you're feeling ambitious, the potatoes need peeling." She turned to unload more bags. There were three five-pound roasts, assorted root vegetables to cook in the beef juices, and enough greens for a large salad. "If not, it's okay. This is fun for me. "I think so." She also looked at the mound of food. "Eight people can put away a lot of food, especially if six of us are active out in the field. It's a good thing we all burn it off so fast. Then if there are any leftovers, somebody will have them for lunch tomorrow."

She took a large bowl from a bottom cupboard and filled it halfway with water and ice. "Put the peeled potatoes in here, please."

If you're going to be different, it's a good power to have. It's the not figuring out how it works part. If it can be figured out, it can be turned off if not reversed."
