Anya was amused and scared at the same time. She didn't know what would happen if her father didn't show. Mom had a temper on her and didn't forget things.
Though she didn't have time to really think about what would happen. She was holding Mom's hand and when the contraction hit, Mom squeezed. Hard. Anya wouldn't be surprised if she had to visit the ER after this.
"He'll be here," Anya assured her. "You know he wouldn't miss this."
