Dane will parry the swings and attempt a forward thrust with his weapon, gauging Ares current level of readiness. He doesn't relish the idea of fighting a god, but he had gone toe-to-toe with Sersi herself and god-like beings and their avatars.
He has killed many of them.
"The God of War doesn't seek a fight? Do I have you confused with another?" he asks.
He lunges forward again, driving the tip of his weapon toward Ares mid-section.
