Matt looks away from Shelly. He knows that what she's saying is true, though he doesn't want to it be. Dracula isn't going to stop until he gets whatever he wants, which they still don't even know.
"Shelly, Dracula is my responsibility. When the time comes, I'm going to deal with him and end it. That's how it has to be. I'm not bringing the rest of you into it." Matt tells her.
