"Midgard is all but used up." He counters. "We have diversity, but perhaps not anything so robust as what the rest of the World Tree offers. Magic is disbelieved or reasoned away as fantasy or science, there are so few islands and distant shores left to chart, leaders are made by pen-strokes and coin-purses rather than by the strength of their arms or spells." He smirks. "And I can't remember the last time I had the chance to set out to slay a dragon. It's appalling really, the state of how little wonder is left."
A pause.
"Save for that which we make for ourselves." He seems content as he says that. "I think there is enough greatness in both our worlds that we need feel no less for being... new to the other." He nearly says 'unknown', in spite of having been born and partially raised in Asgard.
Being five years old is a very long time ago.
"And I am happy to share the wonders of this city with you, my dear friend." He grins. "Or any other you might grow curious about."
