"Well I would too. I mean you do fight along side honest to goodness gods, Dawn," he says with a short chuckle. Her question though brings a serious look to his face.
"It started when I was fourteen. One day all of the sudden... my senses started going nuts. I couldn't go to school because everything was making me react really badly," David explains. Then he talks about how the Russians started looking into the Romanov family.
How his Mom saw Logan on TV and recognized him. Realized who he was and thought maybe he could help David.
"Dad pretty much insisted I start training. So I could defend myself. Mostly it's Misha and I. And all kinds of crazy stuff has happened. I even got to meet the new Alpha Flight. Not in the best manner though. Misha and I got abducted by Weapon X. They were going to use us as lab rats. Maybe even brainwash us."
He shakes his head. "The X-Man things just sort of fell into place. We helped the Shi'ar Prince with a problem. Have fought robots sent to attack us. And we've had to defend ourselves from all kinds of nutjobs who hate us for being different. To be honest I actually like it. I can help people. I'm a natural tracker.... Plus you know. There's a girl."
What. He is a teenage boy.
