What is helpful for everyone else is terrible for Iason. Resting and medical supplies won't help. He needs energy, and lots of it to heal. In most worlds, that would be as easy as going out into orbit and soaking in the sun.
But here, he has to hide away from Stark's satellites. He has to stay out of sight, in the dark. They don't have the budget or resources for that much power. Much as they could use his strength, sometimes the needs of the many, to stay hidden, to stay safe and plan, have to outweigh the needs of the one.
As such, he just makes due with the heat lamps and generators they can spare, conserving his reserves while he contemplates their situation.
