"I had this same talk with her, earlier." Joey says. "You two are a lot more alike than you think. For one thing, she looked for reasons not to like you, too...but she's lost a good friend of hers and now she's got three other friends in the same predicament as she is, Rachel."
He favors Rachel with one of his charm-school smiles.
"I'm not sayin' you two need to be best buddies tomorrow or nothin'...but focus on the fact that you share a mother. Maybe you two can play cards or somethin'. If nothin' else, you'll both make Mrs. Summers happy." he says.
"I didn't meant to take up much of your time, Rachel, but thanks for provin' that every girl I know named Rachel isn't crazy." he smirks.
