Steve had spent quite a lot of time saying his good-byes to people. He'd come to know and depend upon each and every person here, and they him.
Was it fair to just cut and run, now that he had the chance?
Or had he interfered enough in this world?
It was a tough question to ponder, especially in the presence of the girl he left behind.
