Brad was off doing some preliminary scouting for their big Atlantic City trip. Gretchen had tried not to worry about Rose's disappearance at first, but three days incommunicado was absolutely absurd, even if she were upset. Something had happened.
And so Gretchen suddenly came into the conversation.
