The Halls had made a road trip of it, spending as much time together as possible...in case they never saw their little girl again.

When they arrived, her parents did their best to settle her in. There were few more words of encouragement, a few more cautions to watch her back -- but don't worry, humans aren't necessarily bad people no matter how much Dad flinches a bit around crowds of them -- and a lot of hugs before they leave.
