The Baxter Building
Vincent extended a hand out over the cauldron, raising a ceremonial dagger to his fingertip. This was a research experiment for the spell-work he'd been devising. He was trying to map out just where the divine ended and the mortal began in his physical makeup. He still had DNA, blood, and skin samples from the unfortunate incident in Lemuria, but he'd never thought to do a comparison.

This however, would be more than just a simple cellular analysis. This would be equivalent to mapping the human genome, only instead of a genome, it was the divine spark.

As the drop of blood he spills hits the mixture in the cauldron, he feels a wave wash over him, and all goes black.

On instinct, his eyes go to the chronal display on the wall when he regains consciousness. Only a few moments have passed.

"Hm. Disappointing." He gathers himself up from the floor, then pauses. His voice had been amplified, and there was an accent in it. He looks to his right.

And at the same time, Vincent looks to his left.

"Oh..." Longer hair on one side, a scar on the other, hides and cloth facing armor and forest green. "...I see."

"Kristoff.." A crisp voice, with perhaps more of the Balkan accent than usual, comes over the intercom. "I feel we should speak. Also, has anything.. unusual occurred within the Building in the past few minutes?"

"Do ye think he's goin' t' be mad?" A voice with some mix of germanics and scottish brogue, but the same voice, comes from the background.

"Quiet!" The Balkan voice snaps, as the intercom shuts off.
