Cassidy had been studying all day for his test on Tuesday. He really wanted to get every question right, so he'd spent the full day in his room (which didn't bother him so much, as long as he kept a window open to remind him that there was space outside) going over his books.
When the note was slid under the door, Cassidy's attention shifted from his books and he noted for the first time that it was dark outside. Crap, and it was Valentine's Day!
He grabs Izzy's gift and heads downstairs, finding her in the kitchen. He notes the food and how good it smells, and his stomach rumbles in appreciation.
Then he sees Izzy and forgets about the food for a moment.
"Um...hi. You look great." Cassidy says.
"Is that lasagna?" he asks.
