Cassidy does just that, eating heartily. Everything is amazing to him; this is his first time having all of these foods and he's happy that he's doing this with Izzy.
She's helped him to deal with a lot of the bad parts of his past, the parts that still cause him to wake up in tears in the middle of the night, though he could never tell her that.
"How was your day? I'm sorry I didn't come and talk to you earlier, but I was trying to study for the test tomorrow. I don't want to fail." he says.
Of course, he hasn't failed a science test yet, but Cassidy is paranoid like that when it comes to science and math.
