"I know you, demon-blood. Be careful. The wizard doesn't understand me. He can only hear barks and growls." Whisper says.
"Wow, he's pretty talkative tonight. The only other people he's like that with are my girlfriend and another friend of mine who's waiting for me to die so she can have him." Matt chuckles.
"Marlow is not waiting for him to die." Whisper corrects. "She'd take me now if I could get in touch with her, but paws aren't good for the earboxes that humans use." Whisper says.
"And Shelly is just a good person. Janus is too, but he'd rather pretend not to be. He thinks it helps somehow.
Humans are strange." Whisper finishes.
Matt looks at his dog oddly, wondering what was up with this guy that made Whisper so friendly.
"Are you all right?" Matt asks.
