Three days out of school was enough or so Mac had said so Kassi was back at the books. She'd been pretty careful to avoid Ben most of the day--not difficult since their schedules didn't overlap much, but there was no avoiding lunch.
She'd just have to manage, sitting at the far end of the table, hunching over her algebra book and hoping that invisibility is an Atlantean trait (no such luck.)
