A rush of wind from outside brought with it the arrival of Stevie, in her suit. Sure, she could have taken the shorter way here, but she liked to run when she could.
The nice thing about the repulsor field her suit used to cancel friction and let her run was that it extended just enough outside the suit to let MC ride comfortably on her shoulder.
