Svalin was in the stables mucking out Tryggvi's stall. Cleaning up after them was just a part of keeping animals and Svalin and her siblings had learned that lesson early on. Asgardian Royalty they may be, it didn't get them out of doing chores around the house and being responsible for their animals.
The task would have gone a little quicker if it hadn't been for her mount standing behind her and headbutting her once and awhile looking for a treat.
