Avery wraps his arms around Sydney and smiles. He wasn't sure how this would go over.
"I hope it doesn't come to that. I didn't think she'd take it this far. I just hope she'll stand down soon. I love you and I want to be with you, Syd." Avery said.
"I...should have gone after you when you left all those years ago." he whispers.
