Roland got to the top of a open stair well in the lobby that they were fighting in. This whole mission was a botch. He was just going to hold this guy off for a few more minutes and make a break for it. This guy was good maybe as good as him he didn’t particularly want to find out that type of thing didn’t matter too much to him.

Grabbing his M-16 off his back he opened his senses and let his training kick in looking for the guy.
