Melanie Hall ([info]purplegeist) wrote in [info]marvel_nextgen,
That evening

It says a lot about Mel that what she does that evening takes a few deep breaths with which to work up the nerve.

She goes into the kitchen, raids what supplies are available, and gets to work. When all the mixing and whisking is done, and the tray is placed, she -- essentially -- paints the kitchen purple and relaxes into it.
Soon, she's working the accessible parts of the ventilation system to let the scent of vanilla and almonds and bakingness waft out of the kitchen down the halls.

This is downright social butterflyism, this is.
