Lysi gets as far as he can under the cover, with the other cycle taking evasive action to avoid the shots. When she's close, rather than trying to beat the cheating AI with a better bike, she justs throttles up to full speed, then launches herself off her bike, letting her bike crash into the energy wall as further distraction.
The chain lashes out while she's in mid-air, snagging the back of the enemy light cycle so she can pull herself down and into the seat to try and yank the enemy from the seat and fling him off into the wall.
