He shrugs. "A lot of races are sensitive about being told they smell different. Impolite. And in any case, you're not a normal human. You build artificial intelligence, and without benefit of powers beyond what you can create, you go into battle with the Avengers anyway. That takes a kind of courage a lot of people with those special powers wouldn't be able to stack up to."
