Elsewhere in Los Angeles the sun had slipped below the horizon and night had settled. The residents of the city went about their lives unaware of the dangers that lurked in the night.
Vampires, things of myth and legend, along with minions and direwolves came out into the open searching for fresh blood and the one who would bring the sun. If they killed her the sun would die with her.
