"Mom said they're only supposed to act if I'm in trouble," she said. "Though there was no clarification on what defines trouble." Trouble came in all sizes and shapes and her bloodlines guaranteed attracting trouble.
"I know, but it's nice to hear it." She smiled. "I'm proud of you too. You know that, right?" she said, turning it back on him.
