"Check the fridge to see if... ooh, good, couscous." He sets out a small bin filled with the grain. "...see if there's any chicken or, failing that, eggs."
He sets to work quickly and efficiently, putting both of the others to work only occasionally. Ten minutes later, he scoops the finished product from a pan on the stove onto three plates.
