Sweepzweak's power is being the best at any skill appropriate for the plot - including swordsmanship. He gets into perfect Castillian fencing stance, and meets Starbridge's attack with finesse.
Despite his skill though, the plot also demands, whether his opponent is one of the best swordsmen in the galaxy, or some dude swinging a stick around, it has to be close, and look close.
He makes an effort to sweat dramatically, narrowly parrying the series of shi'ar attacks.
