He parries neatly, if barely. "And I didn't attack you while you were distracted by the delivery man, until such time as you attacked him. There must be rules to these things... if we're going to fight dramatically for our mutual love interest, settling this one on one is the only way to go. I'm not supposed to cheat until such time as you have the dramatic upper hand... and its far too early in the plot for that."
