"Yes you should never forget the past and the lessons it has to teach," Carolyn says, "But at the same time you have to be looking forward. A hard balance for some people to find."
"I'm afraid my father and grandfather had a bit of a falling out so I never really saw much of him," she explains, "But I grew up hearing all about him and reading about his works in the news.
