Zviad was covering the ground level, making sure no one surprised from that level. He guessed he was deliberately put outside because his superiors didn't want one of his "issues" with endangering civilians crop up and ruin the mission. Zviad cursed at the circumstances lightly under his breath, but he did his duty.
