Sigurdur considers seeing Svalin again one of the best reasons to be on Midgard, but he cannot tell her that. His job is to guard her and her unborn son, not to let personal feelings distract him. He'd sworn an oath to the All-Father; he could not fail.
"I wouldst like it if we could walk along the beach. Thou seemed happy there, and I would see thy smile again." Sigurdur says.
