Asleif was noticeably lacking in her usual sarcastic comments or biting remarks. She even opted not to verbally eviscerate Ohu. This was, as much at she hated Midgard, her home for the moment. And simply because she detested mortals was no reason to let them come to undue harm.
Especially not children. Mortal lives were brief enough without being prematurely extinguished.
