Griffen is arming himself with his shields. "I'll stay here on the ground to keep any that get through from getting inside. We don't want to put the kids in any kind of danger before the plane can get in the air."
He notes they might worry. He was sure Hal wouldn't worry at all about him too much. He's the normal one. "I'll be fine, I have my shields powered up."
