On the roof - Aslief, Aridis and Marlow
Marlow didn't wait for Aslief's spell; the Asgardian was too slow in her opinion and she was used to going and doing on her own anyway. While the Asgardian was still waving her hands about, Marlow was on the roof and getting a better look at things. The whispers in her head were already growing louder, advising and directing her actions.
So many demons approaching the compound. It made no sense why. There had to be a better reason than a child's birthday party.
With the two on the ground yelling and brandishing weapons at the front of the demon horde and the other two finally arriving nearby, Marlow turned her attention to the ones hovering around the edges. She clenched her hand for a moment and then opened it to reveal a dozen small ruby crystals. Another spell took them from her.
In the distance, a dozen demons were slaughtered in ruby colored blasts.
